簡(jiǎn)單句(句中只有一個(gè)謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞)考查時(shí)態(tài)：

1.以謂語(yǔ)為中心找到主干(比如：主+謂+賓)

She gets up early every morning to catch the early bus.

她每天很早起床，為的是趕早班車(chē)。

We have finished our task. 我們已經(jīng)完成了工作。

2.分析枝干：定語(yǔ)，狀語(yǔ)。

翻譯方法：定語(yǔ)：......的+ 名詞

狀語(yǔ)：位置靈活

A hungry cat from countryside is eating fish. 一只從鄉(xiāng)下來(lái)的饑餓的貓?jiān)诔贼~(yú)。

A cat quickly ate fish by the river. 一只貓?jiān)诤舆吅芸斓爻粤唆~(yú)。

并列句

and(不翻譯)，but(但是), or (否則)

It is a dry season, and everything is easy to catch fire.

天干物燥，小心火燭。

The boy is only ten, but he can do some washing himself.

這個(gè)男孩才 10 歲，但是他能自己洗一些東西了。

Let’s take the stone away, or there may be an accident.

讓我們把石頭移開(kāi)，否則，可能會(huì)有意外。

2.表遞進(jìn)：況且，此外 ：besides = in addition (用時(shí)，后有逗號(hào))，moreover ,what’s more , furthermore.

3.表轉(zhuǎn)折：但是：but 然而：however, nevertheless.

4.表因果: 因此，所以：so ,therefore ,hence.

(2)判斷從句類(lèi)型

名詞性從句

主從(V/be 前)

賓從(V/介詞后)

表從(be 后)

同位從(抽象名詞后)

(1) 主語(yǔ)從句的翻譯(V/be 前)

A. 較短的主從采用順譯法(即從前往后翻譯)

What I need is your support.

我需要的是你的支持。

Who violates the disciplines must be criticized.

誰(shuí)違犯了紀(jì)律, 誰(shuí)就必須受到批評(píng)。

B. 較長(zhǎng)的主從采用逆譯法(即從后向前翻譯)

Why the housing price is increasing is clear.

清楚的是，房?jī)r(jià)為什么在上漲。

That he finished writing the composition in such a short time surprised us all.

令我們驚奇的是，他在這么短的時(shí)間內(nèi)完成了作文。

C. 由 it 作形式主語(yǔ)引導(dǎo)的主語(yǔ)從句，翻譯時(shí)視情況可以提前，也可以不提前，“it”不譯。

It seemed inconceivable that the pilot survived after the crash.

駕駛員在飛機(jī)墜毀之后還活著，這看來(lái)是不可想象的。(提前)

It is strange that she should fail to see her own shortcomings.

奇怪的是，她竟然沒(méi)有看出自己的缺點(diǎn)。(不提前)

It doesn’t make much difference whether you come yourself or send a substitute.

你是自己來(lái)還是派代理人來(lái)，都沒(méi)什么區(qū)別。(提前)

(2) 賓語(yǔ)從句的翻譯(V/介詞后)

A. 采用順譯法(即從前往后翻譯)

I understand that he is well qualified, but I thought he needs more experience.

我知道他完全夠條件，但我覺(jué)得他需要更多的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

B. 用 it 作形式賓語(yǔ)的句子, 翻譯時(shí) that 引起的賓語(yǔ)從句視情況可以提前, 也 可以不提前,“it”不譯。

I take it for granted that we should work hard.

我理所當(dāng)然地認(rèn)為，我們應(yīng)該努力工作。(也可譯為：我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該努力工作，這是理所當(dāng)然的。)

I made it clear to them that they must hand in their papers before 10 o’clock in the morning.

我向他們講清楚了，他們必須在上午十點(diǎn)前交卷。

(3) 表語(yǔ)從句的翻譯(be 后)

采用順譯法(即從前往后翻譯)

The problem is who will travel with me the day after tomorrow.

問(wèn)題是后天誰(shuí)和我一起去旅行。

One advantage of solar energy is that it will never run out.

太陽(yáng)能的一個(gè)優(yōu)點(diǎn)是它永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)耗盡。

(4) 同位語(yǔ)從句的翻譯(抽象名詞后)

A. 從句+的+名詞

He expressed the hope that he would like to visit China again.

他表達(dá)了他想要再次到中國(guó)參觀的這個(gè)希望。

The news that some firemen lost their lives in the disaster depressed us.

一些消防員在這次災(zāi)難中喪生了的這個(gè)消息，讓我們很沮喪。

B. 同位語(yǔ)從句提前

It does not alter the fact that he is responsible for the delay.

遲延應(yīng)由他負(fù)責(zé)，這個(gè)事實(shí)是改變不了的。

He went to the party in spite of the fact that he was not welcome.

盡管他不受歡迎，他還是去參加了聚會(huì)。
